Read DVD Disc On Android Smartphones - Disc Link Platinum

Disc Link Platinum is an APP (by Hitachi-LG Data Storage Inc.) for Android Tablet/ Smart phone to play or copy CD / DVD files, play audio files, rip audio CDs, back data up, burn audio CDs. Currently not support Blu-ray.

Installation

1. Search ‘Disc Link Platinum’ on Google Play Store and install the app
2. Or search ‘Disc Link Platinum apk’ (about 130MB) on Google for download

Connection

1. Connect DVD drive to smart device with USB cable (usually is Type C)
2. Open the installed Disc Link Platinum
3. When you launch the app, "Disc Explorer" appears on the first screen

Function Overview

• Disc Explorer: Play disc files and copy, delete, etc
• Audio Player: Play audio CD and provide various playback screens
• Audio CD Ripper: Extract the track of audio CD to the smart device
• Data Backup: Record (Save) smart device data to disc and save internal/ external storage files to CD or DVD
• Audio CD Burner: Create audio CD after record/ save audio file to disc, it can be played on home or car CD players

Playback DVD

1. Insert DVD Video disc into the DVD drive
2. The disc is automatically loading
3. When confirmed as DVD-Video disc, DVD video player will launch automatically (depends on what APP you installed, like True DVD+, VLC for Android)
4. To exit while watching, click "Back" button on smart device twice
